Who are we doing it for?

Each loan provides the opportunity for one Christian entrepreneur to establish a sustainable business which feeds, clothes and educates an average of 17 people. In 10 years, each loan “recycles” 4 times, funds 4 businesses, improves the lives of up to 68 people, funds education for children, and provides a growing tithe to the church. The interest revenue from each loan pays the operating costs of Marketplace Champions (MC).

HFC/MC continues to demonstrate success in the areas of personal finance, business growth, family stability, church involvement, personal faith, and ministry expansion.  Through HFC, Christian entrepreneurs create a legacy of enduring change for themselves, their families, churches, and entire communities—all of these continue after the loan is repaid!

Empowering Women and Children

A strategic benefit for the Christian entrepreneur’s family is the education of their children, including an opportunity for girls, which is not always available in the dominant Islamic culture. Every MC loan agreement includes a commitment by the entrepreneurs to educate their children. The Islamic community often prefers to send their children to Christian schools, where they receive a quality education.

“so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
