Currently Needed
Presently HFC-PK is using a 15 year old Corolla Toyota Sedan, loaned to us by a USA fieldworker on furlough. He is scheduled to be back in Pakistan in December, 2009. In Pakistan, used vehicles frequently sell for as much or more than a new one. Normally it takes 3 to 6 months after remitting full payment to dealer for the vehicle to be delivered. 
Currently a Suzuki Van including license
fees, taxes, and one year’s insurance is
$22,755, a similar Toyota van would be
an additional $10,000. Presently we are
holding a $200 contribution designated
toward this purpose. A Suzuki Compact
Sedan is about 60% of Suzuki van cost.
Previously Funded
In 2005 HFC raised $9,000 for a
Christian based organization to purchase this tractor. They use this tractor to develope the property and cultivate crops. In April 2009 they harvested several acres of wheat which will save them the cost of buying wheat for about nine months.
